22. Zodiac is a Lightwave

The Zodiac is a Lightwave

The Sun is the light of existence. The void of space is nonexistence. Both are unchanging. But, when nothing changes, nothing is experienced.

In order to experience light and dark, we need to perceive reality from a medium between them. The earth revolves around the Sun and spins on its poles causing the alternation between light and dark. With this duality comes time, space and mortality. Life grows in the light and recedes in the darkness.

The seasonal modulation of light on earth is a sine wave known as the ecliptic (see diagram below). The zodiac is the division of the ecliptic into 12 equal sections which represent the phases of every light wave.* And, since all things are made of light, the zodiac shows the process of all things. (Divine ideas cause the repetition of light waves to appear as stable objects in our minds.)

Aries through Virgo represent the upper half of the wave. Cancer is at its peak and, for this reason, our Presidents and Industry leaders are born with Cancer dominant in their birth charts. Libra through Pisces represent the lower half of the wave. Capricorn is at its trough and, for this reason, our Military, who sublimate themselves for the needs of the group, are born with Capricorn dominant in their birth charts.

Since the earth is divided into two hemispheres, their inhabitants experience the seasons in opposite order (just as opposite sides of earth reverse day and night). Therefore, the signs of the ecliptic are opposite in opposing hemispheres and two people born at the same time in opposing hemispheres will have opposite influences from the planets. If one person has their Sun in Aries, the other will have their Sun in Libra.

As evidence of this fact, we can observe the influence of Mars, which represents competition and physical aggression, in the birth charts of famous athletes born in different hemispheres. Two of the world’s greatest athletes, Michael Jordan and Wayne Gretzky, were born in the Northern Hemisphere with Mars at the peak of the ecliptic, the 1st degree of Cancer (in the 1st or 9th harmonic). Pele, the soccer legend, was born in Brazil with Mars in the 1st degree of Capricorn, from the Northern Hemisphere point of view (in the 9th harmonic). But, from the Southern Hemisphere point of view this is the peak of the ecliptic and is actually the 1st degree of Cancer.

*The influence of the zodiac is not related to the backdrop of the stars. The Sidereal zodiac (constellations) reflects no natural process and is an invention of the human mind. It was devised by superimposing the starry sky onto the ecliptic, as it has no natural divisions of its own.
